Baritone Alex is co-founder, trustee and Managing Director of Toi Toi Opera, and is the company’s chief bean-counter.

Soprano Katherine is co-founder, trustee and Operations Director of Toi Toi Opera, and is the person responsible for the delivery of the company’s programme of work. Her duties are wide-ranging, covering the execution of the artistic and creative output of the company, supporting the Managing Director with business development, and currently she is also interim Artistic Director overseeing the shape and focus of the company’s planned seasons for 2026 and 2027.
