Jack Mould as Njegus

Jack Mould grew up in England and moved to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2019. A lifelong enthusiast of theatre and the performing arts, Jack has been actively involved in Christchurch's arts and community sectors since making New Zealand home.

Since arriving in Christchurch, Jack has performed with Canterbury Repertory Theatre, most recently appearing in the title role of Mort, in the stage adaptation of Terry Pratchett's much-loved novel. Theatre has long been a passion of Jack's, and they enjoy the opportunity to bring stories and characters to life while working alongside talented performers and production teams.

Outside of the theatre, Jack is heavily involved in community advocacy and governance, serving in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles across Canterbury. They are passionate about building inclusive, connected communities and supporting opportunities for people to thrive and participate in the arts and wider community life.

Jack is delighted to be joining the company for The Merry Widow and is excited to be part of bringing Franz Lehár's beloved operetta to Christchurch audiences.
