Soprano Alannah is currently studying at the University of Canterbury. In recent years, she has worked with New Zealand Opera as a member of the Christchurch chorus for La bohème (2025), The Monster in the Maze (2025), and Le Comte Ory (2024).

Other highlights include playing Cosette in North Canterbury Musical Society’s Les Misérables (2026), as well as understudying the roles of Amy March in North Canterbury Musical Society’s Little Women (2025) and Mary Poppins in Centrestage Rolleston’s Mary Poppins (2024).

This is Alannah’s second appearance for Toi Toi Opera, having appeared as a featured soloist in their Great Hall Lunchtime Concert of Puccini & Pucciniana earlier this year.

In addition to singing the role of Froufrou, Alannah is also covering the role of Sylviane Bogdanovich.
